Are you an ecommerce specialist with strong SEO skills, commercial instincts and a passion for building brilliant online customer journeys? Zachary Daniels is partnering with an established international sports and performance brand to recruit a Senior Ecommerce Executive. With a newly appointed Ecommerce Director, a fresh strategy and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting time to join. You will help improve how customers across the UK, US, Germany and other international markets discover, explore and purchase market leading products online.

The Role:

You will play a key role in the day to day trading and optimisation of the website, using data, customer insight and SEO best practice to increase organic visibility, traffic, conversion and revenue. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily website trading, merchandising and content updates
  • Optimising homepage, category and product pages to improve performance
  • Delivering SEO activity across keyword research, metadata, internal linking and onsite content
  • Monitoring organic rankings, traffic and website health through Google Search Console and GA4
  • Working with internal teams and external partners to identify technical SEO improvements
  • Supporting product launches, campaigns and promotional activity
  • Identifying customer journey and conversion rate optimisation opportunities
  • Supporting email, SMS, segmentation and retention campaigns
  • Monitoring ecommerce performance and producing clear, actionable insights
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, commercial and operations teams

What We're Looking For:

You will have experience within ecommerce, digital marketing, online retail or a direct to consumer environment, with a strong understanding of SEO and website optimisation. You will be commercially minded, comfortable working with data and confident turning insight into practical improvements. You will enjoy taking ownership, testing new ideas and seeing the impact of your work. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Ecommerce trading or digital marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of onsite and technical SEO principles
  • Experience with keyword research, content optimisation and organic performance reporting
  • Confidence using Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
  • An understanding of CRO, email marketing and customer retention
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, organised and hands on approach
