About the Role
As Retail Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager and leading a high-performing team within a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. You'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing your team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences, while building the skills needed for future Store Management opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Retail Manager
- Take ownership of a key department and assume Duty Manager responsibilities when required
- Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to create a positive and productive working environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards across all areas of the store
- Maintain high standards of stock management, merchandising, and store presentation
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and company policies
What We're Looking For in a Retail Manager
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Leader or Department Manager or similar leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment
- A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the shop floor and inspiring teams to succeed
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering results
- Commercial awareness and the ability to drive performance through people
- Ambition to progress into a Store Management position
