Trainee Design/Quality Engineer | Warrington | £27,000 – £29,000 DOE

Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30, Fri 8:00-3:30)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Design/Quality Engineer to join a leading global manufacturer and service provider in the industrial engineering sector.
Working as part of a supportive, experienced team, you\’ll assist in creating high-quality designs, drawings, and documentation for large-scale industrial projects. This role offers hands-on experience, in-house and external training, and a clear career path within a growing international organisation.
Trainee Design/Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
Support the design and development of components and arrangement drawings.
Produce and amend technical drawings in line with customer specifications and internal standards.
Prepare Bills of Quantities and material estimates.
Input design data for CNC cutting machinery.
Participate in project planning and documentation for quality and safety.
Assist with on-site installation projects as part of training and quality development.
Collaborate with global teams and customers to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Trainee Design/Quality Engineer Skills:
Technically minded with strong mathematical ability
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong team player with good communication skills
Good time management and ability to work to deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous but not essential.
A background or interest in engineering, design, or manufacturing would be beneficial.
