Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is partnering with a leading fashion retailer to recruit an ambitious Assistant Manager for one of its high-performing stores. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing people, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving commercial success.
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience while ensuring the store operates efficiently every day. You'll be a hands-on leader, motivating the team, maintaining high standards, and helping to achieve ambitious sales targets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Store Manager with all aspects of the day-to-day operation.
- Leading, coaching and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Driving sales, conversion and KPI performance through effective leadership on the shop floor.
- Creating an engaging shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
- Taking ownership of merchandising, stock control and visual presentation to ensure the store always looks its best.
- Helping recruit, train and develop talented individuals to build a high-performing team.
- Maintaining excellent operational standards, compliance and health & safety across the store.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an energetic and commercially minded Assistant Manager who enjoys leading from the front. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Department Manager or Supervisor within fashion or lifestyle retail.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others.
- A commercial mindset with experience delivering sales growth and KPI performance.
- The confidence to make decisions and take ownership in the Store Manager's absence.
