I'm currently supporting a fast‑paced, people‑focused hospitality business in the search for an HR Manager to join their growing People team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, hands‑on HR professional who thrives in a fast‑moving, operational environment and enjoys partnering closely with leaders to drive performance, engagement and culture.
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting a large, multi‑site workforce across a portfolio of well‑known customer‑facing brands. This is a true HR Business Partner role where no two days look the same. One day you may be partnering with senior leaders on people strategy, talent and succession planning, and the next supporting on complex employee relations, coaching managers or driving key people initiatives across the wider business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partnering with operational leaders to deliver people strategies that drive engagement and performance
- Coaching and influencing managers across a multi‑site environment
- Supporting talent, succession and workforce planning activity
- Leading on complex employee relations cases and employment law matters
- Driving people projects and change initiatives
- Championing culture, engagement and performance across the employee lifecycle
What we’re looking for:
- Previous HR experience within a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment (retail, hospitality, food, FMCG or consumer‑led sectors would be highly advantageous)
- Strong employee relations experience, with confidence managing complex casework
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and solutions focused
- Someone who can balance strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach and enjoys being close to the operation
- Strong UK employment law knowledge
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly
This is a field‑based role with regular travel across England, so flexibility and visibility within the operation are key.
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
