Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer. This is a hands-on role within a technology team that plays a critical role in maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable systems across on-premise and cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Linux experience who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working closely with engineering and security teams in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support Linux servers (Red Hat / CentOS) across physical and virtual environments.
  • Support Windows-based environments where required.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues across the TCP/IP stack.
  • Apply patches, updates, and security fixes in line with best practice.
  • Support AWS infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Maintain backups, disaster recovery processes, and system documentation.
  • Work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams.
  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Linux Systems Administrator.
  • Strong Linux background (Red Hat / CentOS).
  • Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
  • Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
  • Exposure to Windows environments.
  • Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible) is desirable.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, operational role.
