Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer. This is a hands-on role within a technology team that plays a critical role in maintaining secure, resilient, and scalable systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Linux experience who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working closely with engineering and security teams in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support Linux servers (Red Hat / CentOS) across physical and virtual environments.
- Support Windows-based environments where required.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues across the TCP/IP stack.
- Apply patches, updates, and security fixes in line with best practice.
- Support AWS infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking.
- Maintain backups, disaster recovery processes, and system documentation.
- Work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or Linux Systems Administrator.
- Strong Linux background (Red Hat / CentOS).
- Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
- Exposure to Windows environments.
- Scripting or automation experience (Bash, Python, Ansible) is desirable.
- Comfortable in a hands-on, operational role.
