The Role:
As the Garment Technologist, you will play an integral role in maintaining exceptional quality standards across the collection, ensuring every piece delivers an outstanding client experience. Working closely with bridal gowns, corsetry, and accessories, you will oversee fit, construction, and finish at every stage. From creating clear, detailed Tech Packs to supporting Quality Control through manufacturer visits, you will act as a vital link between the Atelier and Production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Execution & Tech Packs
- Create comprehensive and accurate Tech Packs to uphold premium standards across all garments.
- Measure garments precisely, recording data, fit comments, and detailed construction notes.
- Work hands-on with luxury materials including tulle, chiffon, silk, lace, intricate beading, and couture corsetry.
- Ensure all gowns are measured, approved, and signed off ahead of client delivery.
- Support the Quality Control team through manufacturer visits during peak production periods.
- Collaborate with the Technical team to build and refine quality standard manuals, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Work closely with Seamstresses, Garment Technologists, and Production teams to meet critical path deadlines and maintain internal trackers.
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Fashion Technology, Pattern Cutting, or Tailoring, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Garment Technology role within luxury fashion, bridal, or high-end womenswear.
- Strong technical understanding of RTW and bridal garment construction, sewing finishes, and machinery (dressmaking or professional pattern cutting experience is a plus).
- Confident using Zedonk, Gmail, Google Sheets, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about craftsmanship, precision, and design integrity.
- A positive, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
