Are you an experienced e-commerce stock control professional with a strong eye for numbers, forecasting and inventory optimisation? We're working with a successful retail business that is looking to appoint an E-Commerce Stock Demand & Inventory Planner to join its high-performing team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of product-level forecasting and inventory planning within a fast-paced, growing e-commerce environment, working across a range of online marketplaces.
The Role
- Managing product-level demand forecasting across a broad e-commerce product range.
- Monitoring and optimising inventory levels to maximise availability while minimising excess stock.
- Analysing sales data, trends and marketplace performance to support purchasing and stock decisions.
- Managing stock control across multiple e-commerce channels and marketplaces.
- Using advanced Excel to analyse data, identify trends and build forecasting and inventory models.
- Working closely with purchasing, merchandising and wider commercial teams to improve stock performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, stock turn and overall inventory efficiency.
- Providing clear reporting and insight to support commercial decision-making.
About You
We're looking for someone who has genuine experience within e-commerce stock control, demand planning or inventory management. You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing stock within an e-commerce environment.
- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse large datasets and develop meaningful reports/models.
- Experience working across e-commerce marketplaces.
- A highly analytical and commercially minded approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot trends and opportunities within data.
