This Senior Merchandiser role is a key position for the business, one that has been key in driving very strong trading performance. Responsibilities
- Management of company and category stock budgets through use of the WSSI
- Management of a small team in the delivery of our Ways of Working to improve availability for the customer
- Involved in the management of category suppliers and 3rd party providers
- Build internal and external collaborative relationships, support and manage where appropriate the supply base to optimise delivery compliance and ensuring ongoing improvements to OTIF and service
- Oversee the planning and stock management requirements of the category across all channels
- Forecast and plan stock requirements to support buying activity
- Be highly adaptable to quickly assess the current operation and ways of working. Recommend long-term strategic improvements to further advance the function.
- Experience in identifying, proposing and implementing improvements to systems and processes
