About the Role
As Garden Centre Manager, you will support the Area Manager and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. Your role will focus on people leadership, performance management, and operational excellence - with clear progression opportunities into Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a department and step up as Duty Manager when required
- Support the Area Manager in delivering KPIs: sales, shrinkage, and wage control
- Drive exceptional customer service and team engagement
- Oversee stock control, merchandising, and compliance standards
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed
- Analyse store data to identify areas for improvement and growth

- Proven experience as a Store Manager (or similar level) in a fast-paced retail environment
