This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced content professional to lead a small team, oversee high-volume website content and ensure exceptional standards of product presentation across digital and print channels. The Website Content & Copywriting Team Lead will combine hands-on content expertise with team leadership, managing workloads, improving processes and ensuring content is engaging, accurate and commercially effective. Key Responsibilities Lead, support and develop a team of 3-4 content professionals, managing workloads, priorities and performance. Oversee the creation, editing and optimisation of website product content, including descriptions, imagery and video. Ensure all digital and print content is accurate, engaging, SEO-friendly and aligned with brand guidelines. Manage the content workflow for a large annual product catalogue, ensuring deadlines and weekly targets are met. Work closely with Buying, Digital and wider business teams to ensure product information is accurate and presented effectively. Coordinate proofreading, quality control and content approval processes. Identify opportunities to improve content quality, team efficiency and workflow management. Monitor team performance and provide regular progress updates against key deliverables. About the Candidate Minimum 2 years' experience in website content, copywriting or a similar role, ideally within retail or ecommerce. Previous experience managing, supervising or mentoring a team. Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience managing high volumes of content and delivering against tight deadlines. Good understanding of SEO, digital content optimisation and online product presentation. Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate multiple projects. Confident communicator, comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with content management systems, Microsoft Office and catalogue production would be advantageous.
