We are looking for a couple of Freight Forwarders to work in a fast-paced, long-standing trading business. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you will play a key part in coordinating deliveries, solving operational challenges, and ensuring goods move efficiently across the UK.
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods from planning through to delivery, ensuring operations run smoothly and customers receive an excellent service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating collections and deliveries across the UK
- Managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full
- Monitoring transport activity and resolving any operational issues that arise
- Building strong relationships with suppliers, transport providers, customers and internal teams
- Scheduling deliveries while balancing changing priorities
- Maintaining accurate records using internal business systems
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
