My client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join their site in North Lanarkshire. You will be working with an extremely successful FMCG company, that are going through a continued period of development and investment. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise engineering team members
- Initiate and manage maintenance tasks, ensuring machinery operates smoothly and reliably
- Promote a safety first culture by ensuring adherence to H&S regulations
- Collaborate closely with production teams to optimise equipment performance
- Encourage team development through coaching and leadership
- Document all maintenance equipment and track equipment performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Experience in engineering leadership role - ideally within manufacturing or food production environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly within a production setting
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to engineering operations
