We are partnering with a values-driven fashion business to recruit a Junior Merchandiser who will play a key role in supporting trading, range planning and commercial decision-making across Consumer, Trade and Consignment channels. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop strong analytical capability while working closely with an experienced Merchandiser in a highly collaborative environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Merchandiser, you will support the delivery of accurate, insight-led reporting and analysis to drive trading and buying decisions across the business. You will be instrumental in:
- Reporting & Analysis
- Owning weekly sales and stock reporting
- Producing trading reports and analysing performance trends
- Identifying risks and opportunities across categories, channels and gender
- Supporting consumer and consignment sales analysis
- Maintaining product-level attributes for effective reporting
- Providing analysis to inform markdown and promotional decisions
- Supporting off-price trade packages
- Partnering with Ecommerce and Marketing on pricing and product activity
- Monitoring stock risk and proactively suggesting trading actions
- Supporting seasonal option planning by category, age and gender
- Analysing historical best sellers and trend data
- Assisting with buy quantities and size ratio recommendations
- Monitoring OTB spend and highlighting risks/opportunities
- Building and maintaining PO templates
You will also support operational processes including product set-up, reporting improvements and providing cover for the Assistant Merchandiser when required. All trading and stock decisions are made in partnership with the Merchandiser - making this a genuine development role with strong exposure.
About You
- Experience in merchandising, assistant merchandising or strong MAA level
- Highly analytical with advanced Excel capability
- Commercially curious and confident interpreting data
- Proactive and solution-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Buying, Ecommerce and Marketing
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with purpose.
