Merchandising Manager | Established & High-Performing UK Retailer | Security and Growth Potential | No Red Tape Nonsense Location: Cambrideshire Salary: Competitive + benefits Reporting to: Senior Trading Leadership About the Role We're partnering with one of the most successful and secure fashion businesses in the UK today to find an experienced Merchandising Manager to join their team. This is a business built on a genuinely established, trusted brand name - growing organically through that reputation, and growing further through acquisition. Off the back of consistently strong performance, the business is now investing in headcount within its merchandising function, which has traditionally run lean. This role is being added because growth demands it - not to plug a gap or fix a problem. It's a rare combination: the stability and resource of a well-established, secure business, without the corporate frustrations that so often come with that scale. You'll join a good, established team, with good leadership above you - and genuinely strong timing, joining at the point the function is being invested in and built out. The Role As Merchandising Manager, you'll take ownership of the trading strategy and performance for your area, working closely with senior merchandising leadership, Buying and the wider commercial team. Key responsibilities will include: Owning the sales, stock and intake strategy for your categories, ensuring plans are commercially robust and aligned to business targets Leading trade analysis and reporting, identifying risk and opportunity and translating insight into clear, confident recommendations Partnering closely with Buying to shape range planning, OTB and future strategy Managing markdown, promotional and clearance strategy to protect margin while maximising sell-through Supporting integration and alignment of merchandising processes as the business grows through acquisition Managing and developing team members within the function as it continues to expand Building strong relationships across Buying, Supply Chain, Retail and senior stakeholders About You Proven experience as a Merchandising Manager or strong Senior Merchandiser ready for the next step, ideally within an established or multi-brand fashion retailer Commercially sharp, with strong analytical skills and the confidence to present recommendations to senior stakeholders Comfortable operating within a larger, more structured business, while bringing energy and fresh thinking to a growing function Experience managing or developing others is a strong advantage Adaptable - comfortable supporting change and integration as the business grows through acquisition Genuinely excited by the opportunity to grow with a function that's being invested in, not just maintained What's On Offer The chance to join one of the most successful and secure fashion businesses in the UK, at a genuinely well-timed point in its growth A good, established team and strong leadership above you Investment in the merchandising function, with real scope to shape it as it grows The stability of a well-established business, without the corporate frustrations often associated with that scale Interested?
