This is an opportunity to join a successful business where you'll play a key role within a supportive finance team, work closely with senior leadership and have the opportunity to develop and mentor the next generation of finance talent.
Our client requires a highly experienced Qualified Accountant with experience of managing, who is wanting more exposure and long term opportunities. Reporting directly to, you'll lead a team of 4 whilst taking ownership of management accounts, stock reporting, rebates, analysis and process improvements. The role offers a fantastic mix of technical accounting, commercial exposure and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for accurate Monthly Management Accounts and reporting
- Stock and inventory analysis
- Rebate accounting and reporting
- Margin and profitability analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Team leadership, coaching and development
- Business Partner across all areas and build strong relationships
- Act as a key point of contact for financial queries and issue resolutions
- Communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or finalist with relevant experience)
- Strong management accounting background
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment
- Enjoys developing and supporting junior team members
- Positive, proactive and hands-on approach
