BUYER ECOM & RETAIL INTERNATIONAL RETAILER HYBRID WOMENSWEAR

As a Buyer, you'll take ownership of your category, working closely with Design, Merchandising and suppliers to deliver trend-led, commercially successful ranges.

You'll trade your department daily, react quickly to customer demand and play a key role in driving sales, margin and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and trade commercially successful product ranges.
  • Work closely with Design and Merchandising to build balanced, profitable collections.
  • Analyse sales and market trends to identify opportunities and manage risk.
  • Source and develop products with suppliers while negotiating costs and improving margins.
  • Manage the critical path to ensure products launch on time.
  • Carry out competitor analysis and identify gaps within the range.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and travel where required.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the Buying team.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and drive business growth.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Buyer or experienced Junior Buyer within fashion retail.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a trend-led approach.
  • Confident trading a department and making commercial decisions.
  • Analytical, with strong Excel skills and the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within an e-commerce or test-and-repeat retail model is advantageous.
