Zachary Daniels is excited to be recruiting for an Area Manager/Developing Area Manager for a leading retail business in great locations across The Netherlands! You will be an ambitious retailer who is ready for the next stage in their career - or perhaps a previous multi-site manager who is looking to, in the long term, return to a field-based retail role. Initially, we want to recruit a Store Manager who will progress into an Area Manager.
In this role, you will lead stores, drive commercial performance and ensure your Store Manager team is in the best position to deliver results! We are keen to recruit an Area Manager who has a background as a high-performing Store Manager and has exposure to leading multiple stores and locations across The Netherlands. You will grow with this role - so drive, hunger and focus are required!
Key Responsibilities as our new Area Manager:- Hold full responsibility for the commercial performance of the stores across your area.
- Manage your own store then work to develop others.
- Regularly visit stores on a rotation basis, spending one day a week in the field.
- Have your own store as your base and then grow from that.
- Drive consistently high standards across your area.
- Lead the commercial performance of your area, using data, insight and reporting to identify opportunities and drive results across sales, service, operations and people metrics.
- Take ownership of area performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing action plans to maximise results across the stores in Holland.
- Partner with Store Managers to strengthen commercial thinking, ensuring they confidently use tools, reporting and insight to steer priorities and deliver results.
- Alongside your area role, directly manage your own store with full accountability for operational excellence and people leadership.
To be considered for this great role, we are keen to engage with Senior Store Managers, Area Managers, Cluster Managers and Multi-site Managers who have strong retail experience.
