E-commerce Executive
The opportunity
A growing international consumer e-commerce business is looking for a commercially minded E-commerce Executive to help expand its direct-to-consumer sales across international markets.
Working closely with the Head of E-commerce and wider commercial team, you will support the growth of websites serving customers across the UK, Europe, North America and other priority territories.
This is a hands-on role covering website trading, digital acquisition, merchandising, promotions and customer retention.
It would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, analysing performance and turning ideas into measurable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of international e-commerce growth plans.
- Manage website trading, product merchandising, pricing and promotional activity.
- Coordinate product launches, campaigns and seasonal trading events.
- Grow qualified traffic through paid media, CRM, SEO, affiliates and partnerships.
- Improve conversion rate, average order value, repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
- Adapt website content and customer journeys for different international markets.
- Analyse sales, customer and marketing performance, recommending clear actions.
- Monitor competitors, pricing and market trends.
- Work with marketing, product, customer-service, logistics and supply-chain teams.
- Support improvements to payments, delivery, returns and the overall customer experience.
About you
- Previous experience in e-commerce, digital trading or online retail.
- Good understanding of website merchandising and digital marketing channels.
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with sales and marketing data.
- Experience using an e-commerce platform such as Shopify would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, analytical and comfortable taking ownership of projects.
- Experience of international or cross-border e-commerce would be advantageous.
- Additional language skills would be welcomed but are not essential.
