Zachary Daniels is delighted to be recruiting for an Area Manager on behalf of a leading international fashion and footwear retailer, overseeing a portfolio of stores across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Manager, Cluster Manager or high-performing Multi-Site Manager who is passionate about fashion, footwear and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, developing high-performing store teams and ensuring brand standards are consistently executed across your region. As an Area Manager, you will work closely with Store Managers to maximise sales, profitability and operational excellence, while championing a customer-first culture that reflects the brand's premium positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the commercial performance of a portfolio of fashion and footwear stores across your region.
  • Drive sales, profit, conversion, average transaction value and other key retail KPIs through strong commercial leadership.
  • Analyse sales reports, market trends and performance data to identify opportunities and implement action plans that deliver sustainable growth.
  • Coach, develop and inspire Store Managers to build high-performing teams and achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are delivered consistently across all locations.
  • Champion visual merchandising excellence, ensuring stores reflect seasonal collections, brand guidelines and commercial priorities.
  • Lead talent development, succession planning and recruitment across your area, creating a strong pipeline of future retail leaders.
  • Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews and business planning meetings to drive accountability and results.
  • Ensure operational compliance across all stores, including health & safety, cash management, loss prevention and company procedures.
