We are recruiting a motivated Retail Supervisor to join a specialist jewellery retailer in Manchester Arndale. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong salesperson who enjoys working towards targets, supporting colleagues and creating a shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

The Role

Working alongside the Store Manager, you will help drive daily sales, maintain high retail standards and support the team in delivering outstanding customer service.

You will take a hands-on approach to selling, engaging customers, understanding their needs and recommending products that suit their preferences. Leading by example, you will help create a positive team environment where commercial performance and customer satisfaction go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage customers, identify buying opportunities and convert interactions into sales.

• Maximise sales through effective product recommendations, cross-selling and upselling.

• Support the team in achieving individual targets and overall store objectives.

• Monitor daily sales performance and key retail KPIs, helping identify opportunities to improve results.

• Coach colleagues on customer engagement, product knowledge and effective selling techniques.

• Build customer loyalty by delivering a personalised and memorable shopping experience.

• Maintain high standards of store presentation, visual merchandising and housekeeping.

• Support stock management, deliveries, replenishment and online order processing.

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and the smooth running of the store.

About You

• Previous experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or senior sales role.

• A strong salesperson who enjoys working towards targets and maximising every sales opportunity.

• Confident recommending products, overcoming objections and increasing transaction values.

• A natural communicator who enjoys building rapport and developing customer relationships.

• Comfortable supporting and motivating colleagues in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Organised, proactive and committed to maintaining high standards.

• An interest in jewellery, accessories or lifestyle retail; relevant product experience is advantageous.
