We are recruiting an experienced Stock & Logistics Manager to join a high-volume retail operation within a fast-paced airport environment. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for stock accuracy, replenishment, inventory control, merchandising standards and team performance across a busy retail location.
The role would suit an experienced Stock Manager, Replenishment Manager, Night Manager, Inventory Manager or Retail Logistics Manager from a large-format or high-volume retail background. You will be responsible for leading the replenishment operation, maintaining stock integrity, managing inventory counts, supporting promotional changeovers and ensuring stock availability is optimised in line with customer demand and commercial performance.
You will also work closely with Store Management, Supply Chain, Product and Logistics teams to ensure stock levels, store standards, compliance and operational performance are consistently maintained.
What we're looking for:
- Strong retail management background
- Experience managing stock, replenishment, inventory or logistics within a retail environment
- Experience leading and developing sizeable teams
- Strong knowledge of stock accuracy, shrinkage and inventory control
- Commercially aware with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
- Flexible around working patterns, including nights and weekends
Shift Pattern:
The role operates across a mixed day/evening/night pattern, with additional flexibility required around stocktakes, promotional changeovers and key trading periods. Typical week:
- Monday: 08:00-16:15
- Tuesday: 18:00-04:15
- Wednesday: 16:00-02:15
- Thursday: 12:00-20:15
- Friday: 08:00-16:15
You would also be expected to work approximately one weekend in every three to four.
Package:
- £45,000-£50,000 basic salary
- 20% management bonus based on individual and business performance
- 40% night premium for hours worked between midnight and 4am
