Ecommerce Assistant | Dropship Buying | London | Hybrid
We are partnering with an established retailer to recruit an Ecommerce Assistant to join its fast-paced Dropship Buying team.
This is a commercially focused role supporting the day-to-day management of products, suppliers and trading information. The Ecommerce Assistant will work closely with Buyers and suppliers to ensure product, cost, pricing, margin and supplier data is accurate, while helping the wider team keep trading activity running smoothly.
The role would suit someone highly organised and comfortable working with data who is looking to build a career across Buying, Merchandising, Commercial or Ecommerce .
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to the Dropship Buying team across administrative, operational and commercial activity.
Maintain accurate product, cost, retail, margin and supplier information across relevant systems and spreadsheets.
Support new product lines, amendments and commercial changes.
Identify discrepancies and investigate issues, escalating where required.
Support supplier administration, including queries, reporting and general communication.
Assist Buyers with reporting, analysis and wider trading activity.
Maintain trackers, reports and key working documents accurately and to deadline.
Work closely with Buyers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and keep information up to date.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce administration and increase efficiency.
Take ownership of allocated tasks and ensure actions are followed through.
Key Requirements
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working with large volumes of data and spreadsheets.
Good numerical and analytical ability.
Confident using Excel ; experience with formulas, lookups and data manipulation would be beneficial.
Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
