AI-Capable DTC/E-com Video Editor

Location: UK or Europe (must work UK/Europe hours)

Type: Full-time, remote

Compensation: ~$1,500–3,500 / month, depending on AI capability and experience

About the role

You'll edit video ads for D2C e-commerce brands running on Meta. The core of the work spans two levels: clean, fast UGC editing (assembling clips, captions) and well-executed AI creative. AI is increasingly central to what we make, so strong AI editors are preferred. The trait we value most is common sense on a brief. If a creator says something about how a product or app works, we expect the relevant on-screen element to appear without us having to spell it out. That behavioural instinct is as important as the editing itself.

What you'll do

  • Edit UGC-style ads: cutting and assembling clips, adding captions, keeping a clean and fast turnaround.
  • Produce well-executed AI video creative — not the low-quality avatars or AI slop.
  • Add on-screen elements, animations, and product/app demonstrations at the right moments, driven by the script — without needing to be told each time.
  • Work within a pod alongside a creative strategist and other editors, executing briefs accurately the first time.

AI stack we work with

  • HiggsField (primary environment)
  • Midjourney for model generation
  • Nano Banana / GPT for base images
  • Kling or Seedance for generation (via HiggsField)

What we're looking for

  • Proven DTC/e-com video editing experience (portfolio required).
  • Genuine, well-executed AI capability — we will assess the quality of your AI work closely, since there's a wide gap between poorly and well-executed AI.
  • Strong common sense and reliability to a brief; you follow the intent, not just the literal instructions.
  • Comfortable walking us through your own edits and the reasoning behind them.

Nice to have

  • Motion graphics ability (a real plus — useful as backup depth across the team).
