Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What will you be doing? Be part of a site based team managing a team of C&I Technician and Electricians. In this role you’ll be working Supervisor involved carrying out critical maintenance of electrical and instrumentation assets to include the following:
- Interpreting and using electrical schematics, manuals, asset standards, and other technical documents to assist installations and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Working to the company and customer safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
- Inspection and Maintenance of Site Switchgear, UPS systems, Lighting and Power.
- Maintenance of electrical actuators (Rotork etc).
- Fault Finding on Low Voltage equipment.
- Experience with industrial DCS/SCADA systems such as Profibus PA and DP along with a strong ability to interpret, diagnose and rectify Logic in both Ladder and Function block formats (ABB, Siemens, Allen Bradley).
- Experience with instrumentation to include but not limited to Temperature, Level (Radar and Capacitance), Flow, Switches.
- Inspection and Calibration of H2S sample points and monitors.
- Updating of Software/Firmware.
- Saving of PLC Programme files.

- Valid UK driving license.
- NVQ Level 3 in Controls and Instrumentation.
- Key understanding of Instrumentation Calibration processes.
- CompEx/ATEX knowledge/exposure advantageous but not essential.
