The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

An exciting career opportunity as Maintenance Assistant responsible for keeping the hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs in all areas of the hotel.

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7 with 8.5 hours per shift, including weekends; from 10am to 6:30pm.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, can-do approach
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs
  • Performing preventative maintenance work throughout all areas of the hotel
  • Working in a safe manner and maintaining cleanliness and order in hotel’s power plant areas
  • Maintaining rooms in optimal operating condition by performing repairs as needed such as repairing televisions, toilets, and flooring etc.
  • Working with outside contractors when necessary to assist them in performing maintenance or construction jobs
