An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider working on an established portfolio within the M25 corridor and based in Surrey. GH Engage are currently recruiting an Assistant Contracts Manager to work across a portfolio of sites within the M25 Corridor and based in Surrey. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Technical Supervisor or Engineering Manager currently in a similar position who is keen on training and progression. The successful candidate will have experience in leading a team and providing technical advice. In return, the company are offering a salary up to £50,000 with travel provided.
Responsibilities:
- Covering sites within the M25 corridor and being based in Surrey 2-3 days a week.
- Carrying out site surveys.
- Managing a team of engineers.
- Mobilising new contracts.
- Carry out site inspections.
- Preparing quotations for additional works and small projects.
- Monitor subcontractors.
- Managing contract renewals.
- Update contract managers with relevant client or site information.
- Updating site log books.
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared and used for all tasks.
Required Skills:
- Qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC.
- Previous experience running a team of engineers.
- Experience with liaising with clients.
- Proactive and organised.
- Being able to provide technical advice to clients and staff.
