We are seeking an experienced Shift Technician for a client-side maintenance engineering position in an established data centre in East London. This is a rare opportunity to join an end-user company that offers a market-leading benefits package and training/progression opportunities.

Duties:

  • Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
  • HV/LV electrical systems and UPS's.
  • CRAC units, air/water cooled chillers.
  • Electrical fault finding, wiring, control panels, switchboards, induction motors, sockets, circuits, ballasts, lamps, emergency lights.
  • Pumps, AHUs/FCUs (coil cleans, filter changes, belt changes), boiler resets, heat exchangers, pressurisation units, booster sets, expansion valves, basic water treatment.
  • BMS monitoring, temperature changes, general fabric/plumbing works when required.
  • Abide by health and safety regulations and update on-site logbooks/compliance.

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical bias.
  • HVAP is preferable but not essential.
  • Experience within data centres.
  • Able to commute to London daily.

Client-Side Package:

  • Salary: £48,800
  • 10% Annual Bonus: £4,880
  • Total take home: £53,680
