Repairs Officer (Level 1) Ending Feb 2025 – May be extended/made perm £15.67 per hour 3 Shifts at Hammersmith and 2 at Kings Cross Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm N1 They will be expected to complete 80 cases a day. Assist with the progression and completion of day-to-day responsive repairs for our residents. Action these repairs with urgency to ensure things get fixed quickly and well. Be meticulous when reviewing and accepting quotes. Check if the costs from contractors are reasonable. Confirm that the repair work done matches what was supposed to be done before paying for it. Be proactive doing what you can to prevent these repairs from getting stuck, ensuring each repair is finished quickly and well. Keep both internal and external customers informed about what you’re doing and when it will get done. Answer questions whether online or in person ensuring that you record everything on Workwise Ensure that our residents have a good experience with their repairs. Understand what customers and colleagues need for repairs and do your best to deliver that. Do your best to triage/diagnose all repairs to the best of your ability – this will help to prioritise repairs that need serious attention, allocating the right resources, being as cost effective as possible, enhancing customer satisfaction. Analyse quotes/ variation orders and invoices, verifying costs and works by using the Schedule of Rates (SOR) liaising with appropriate person of authority if approval required. Investigate the cause and ascertain if a repair should be a recalled or closed down, liaising with all parties concerned
