My client is seeking an experienced Pathway Manager to oversee supported accommodation services across the Bromley borough. The role involves managing 45 bedspaces across six schemes supporting young people aged 18–24, including a 24-hour staffed service, a mother and baby unit, and supported housing provisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of supported accommodation services
  • Manage a team of:
  • 2 Senior Progression Coaches
  • 6 Progression Coaches
  • 1 Housing Management Worker
  • Deliver a trauma-informed, outcomes-focused service supporting young people towards independence
  • Support clients with complex needs (mental health, substance use, exploitation risk, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to meet client needs
  • Develop strategic partnerships across the borough
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and appropriately reported
  • Oversee KPI reporting, data submission, and contract compliance
  • Represent the service at commissioning and partnership meetings
  • Manage service budgets, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Oversee rental income collection and void management
  • Ensure health & safety and legal compliance across all sites
  • Engage with local stakeholders and contribute to community initiatives
  • Essential Requirements

    • Experience managing a service, ideally within supported housing or similar settings
    • Experience working with young people with complex needs
    • Strong background in service delivery, KPI reporting, and contract compliance
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets
    • Experience supervising and leading staff teams
    • Knowledge of risk assessments and support planning
    • Experience working in multi-agency environments with commissioners and stakeholders
    • Experience managing budgets, buildings, and operational costs
    • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
    • Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
    • Commitment to health and safety standards

    Desirable

    • Experience managing teams across multiple or dispersed sites
