This is a customer-facing role involving service, food preparation and café operations. Front of House Team Members deliver excellent customer service while preparing drinks, desserts and food items to Yuum standards in a fast-paced premium café environment. This role is part of the opening team at Yuum The Whiteley.

Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Create a welcoming environment and deliver consistently high hospitality standards
- Take customer orders using the POS system
- Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently recommend products and promotions to increase average order value
- Prepare drinks, desserts and food items according to Yuum standards
- Carry out light food preparation and cold prep when required
- Follow product handling and storage procedures
- Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
- Maintain Yuum service, presentation and product standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, equipment and service areas
- Refill product displays and maintain visual presentation
- Assist with deliveries, restocking and inventory organisation
- Maintain product display standards
- Support waste reduction and stock rotation
- Assist with opening, closing and daily operational tasks
- Work closely with the team to keep service smooth, organised and welcoming during busy periods
- Share feedback and suggestions to help improve service and operations
What we are looking for:
- Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in hospitality, café, retail or customer service preferred
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling customer orders
- Good spoken English
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Takes ownership of tasks and service standards
- Interest in premium food, drinks or café culture
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods during busy service
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain smooth service during peak periods
