Hours of work: 108 Annualised hours (average of 4 hours per week) semester time only.

York SU has partnered with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) to run a new rugby project aimed at engaging new students in rugby. The College Rugby Activator will be a student role that takes a lead role in promoting the College rugby programme and helping to grow engagement across our college rugby leagues with a particular focus on women's rugby. They will also support the University clubs with their development teams and increase participation in rugby at York.
The main duty of the role will be working on promoting college rugby aiming to attract those who have not played or would not normally consider taking part in rugby. The post holder will also work with our existing women's rugby teams to help develop and grow participation within college sport. Additionally, they will assist in the organisation of one-off tournaments and other opportunities to get students involved in rugby union.
