We are currently looking for a Grade 2 Warehouse Operative on nightshift, to support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound across the GP2 site. The shift pattern for this role is 22:00 - 6:00 Sunday - Thursday.
The salary for this role is £28,537.32 per annum with a £1,872 nightshift allowance per annum.

Job Description
- As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
- Deputise in the absence of the relevant Team Leader as and when required.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good level of general education, including good understanding of both written and verbal English
- Current or previous MHE licences desirable such as T20, VNA & Reach truck
- Literate and numerate
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage
- Flexibility to work shifts & to attend call outs where required
- Ability to work as part of a team
- WMS – PKMS
