We are looking for a Transport Operations Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00, subject to business requirements.

As Transport Operations Manager, you will lead the daily delivery of transport functions at our Erith site, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You will oversee driver and transport team activity, ensuring all deliveries are covered and handled correctly, resources are optimised, and any service issues are resolved promptly. Managing team performance, you will deliver training and engagement activities, ensuring staff are supported and aligned with business goals. Additionally, you will:
- Manage vehicle compliance
- Support driver training and operational performance
- Manage transport documentation
- Lead health and safety compliance
To be considered as a Transport Operations Manager, you will need:
- Experience in a supervisory or team-lead role within a transport or logistics environment
- Experience in transport management, with responsibility for overseeing a medium-sized distribution network
- A good understanding of transport regulations and fleet management
- A CPC qualification (national/international)
