Supply Chain Analyst Northampton (with hybrid working – 3 days remote, subject to business requirements)

We are now looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The Role

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide key insight and data-driven support at our Northampton site, to enable us to make the best business decisions. Driving toward the more efficient and cost-effective delivery of products and services, you will identify areas where we can improve, help to develop solutions and work alongside colleagues to implement the changes. You’ll provide accurate reporting and insights, help to identify needs and requirements and interpret patterns and trends in data, producing standard and non-standard statistical and data analyses.

Additionally, you will:

  • Produce performance dashboards and reports to aid data visualisation
  • Highlight supply chain initiatives and address issues
  • Produce reports and charts to better communicate trends
  • Provide regular updates
  • Monitor and track KPIs
  • Maintain your knowledge of industry trends and best practice
  • Research and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors

About You

To be considered as a Supply Chain Analyst, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with supply chain management/logistics experience
  • Experience and proficiency in using integration tools and data analysis tools and software (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP)
  • A good understanding of the principles of the data life cycle and the steps involved in conducting routine data analysis tasks
  • Knowledge of supply chain management/logistics principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complicated data to all relevant stakeholders in an effective manner
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • To be enthusiastic and self-aware, adapting your style to the situation
  • The ability to build a rapport at any level
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
