We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our highly committed Healthcare team as our new Supply Chain Analyst. This role offers the opportunity for a hybrid working pattern (3 days remote subject to business requirements) and is based at our Grange Park 3 site (NN4 5FB).
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analysing data and processes across the customer supply chain, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective delivery of products or services. You will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement changes.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 to £42,000 per annum (DOE) with £5,000 car allowance per annum. The shift pattern is predominantly a Monday – Friday working 09:00-17:00 (some flexibility may be required subject to business requirements).

Key responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements and deliver accurate and effective reporting and insights to drive business decisions.
- Support internal & external stakeholders to identify reporting needs and requirements. Review ongoing data requests, assess the priorities and communicate the status with all relevant stakeholders.
- Identify, analyse and interpret trends and patterns in supply chain data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to different management or leadership teams.
- Produce a range of standard and non-standard statistical and data analysis reports to support the business unit needs.
- Produce performance dashboards and reports to aid visualisation and support the business unit needs.
- Utilise data insights to help identify, develop and implement supply chain initiatives to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilise data insights to identify and implement solutions to address supply chain issues, such as inventory management problems, sourcing issues, or logistics bottlenecks.
- Ensure that all communications are effectively managed and shared with the team as appropriate.
- Produce reports and charts communicating trends within data to non-specialists.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders and meet on a regular basis to provide updates.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, recommending and implementing as appropriate to ensure we remain current with new technology.
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Supporting the roll out of digital technology solutions for back-office functions.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is desirable.
- Proven experience in a similar role; within supply chain management/logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complicated data to all relevant stakeholders in an effective manner.
- Proven experience and proficiency in using integration tools and data analysis tools and software (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI, SAP).
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Good understanding of the principles of the data life cycle and the steps involved in conducting routine data analysis tasks.
- Enthusiastic and self-aware, adapting style to the situation with excellent inter-personal skills – able to build a rapport at any level.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while at ease effectively working under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply chain management/logistics principles and best practices.
