Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Quality Manager to join our UK Healthcare Department.
This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of quality-related activities, ensuring the highest standards of compliance, customer service and operational excellence.
As the Warehouse Quality Manager, you will lead investigations into all reported customer-related incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
You will champion quality standards across the operation, supporting a culture of compliance, accountability and continuous improvement.
This role will initially be based at our Northampton GP3 site (NN4 5FB) but will eventually also cover operations at our Northampton SDC site (NN7 2FR), with opportunity to work remotely one day per week.
The working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. The role will offer a salary of £45,000 – £47,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in any audits relating to CAA, certified bodies, authorities or customers.
- Ensuring that a Quality Management system in compliance with GDP guidelines is maintained.
- Provide mentoring and support to the Quality team to ensure their appropriate knowledge and understanding of GDP regulations to comply fully with all international standards and regulatory requirements for the storage and transportation of healthcare / pharmaceutical products.
- Oversee stock counts, working with the inventory team / customers to ensure accurate, effective reporting of information.
- Work with site administration / management and the centralised maintenance department to manage remedials and repairs.
- Completion of site YES / 5S assessments.
- Participate in site management meetings.
- Manage the change management process. Responsible for the management of Events and CAPA’s.
- Manage suppliers and sub-contractors in line with GDP.
- Coordinating and promptly performing any recall operations for medicinal products.
- As necessary, undertake / support complex case investigations, providing advice and guidance to the Quality team (using root cause analysis tools and CAPA management techniques), including liaison with all associated parties, collation of documentation and evidential reports.
- Provide internal and external data analysis, reports and / or presentations detailing adherence to KPIs / SLAs.
- What You Will Bring To The Role
- Previous experience in a Quality role within a pharmaceutical warehouse environment.
- Understanding of MHRA regulations.
- Working knowledge of GDP and CAPA management.
- Experience conducting audits, quality assessments and investigations.
- Proven people management experience.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office systems.
- Registered Responsible Person (desirable).
