We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team within a specialist temperature-controlled pharmaceutical warehouse.
This role is critical in ensuring the safe handling, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and accuracy.
The roles will follow a Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00 shift pattern and will offer an annual salary of £28,354.14.

Key responsibilities
- Operations
- Safely load and unload products onto trailers, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm.
- Complete relevant paperwork to confirm loading and unloading activities have been carried out for audit purposes.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
- MHE & Automation
- As directed in accordance with training, appropriately use material handling equipment to support operational processes.
- Monitor, operate, and support automated warehouse systems, including Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), 4-way shuttle, Goods to Person (GTP) and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS).
- Health and Safety (H&S)
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintain and update site Risk Assessments, Safe, System of Work and working instructions.
- Communication
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
- Company Procedures
- Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values.
Due to the nature of the products and facilities, all successful applicants will be required to successfully complete a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Security Check/ including providing references covering 5-year employment history.
- Key requirements
- FLT licence: counterbalance or reach truck licences. A4 category will be highly desirable
- Willingness to undertake additional training (A4 licence etc.)
- Warehouse experience (previous experience from working with GDP or MHRA requirements will be a bonus)
- Experience in safely handling goods of varying sizes and weights (lifting goods up to 20kg will be required)
- Good communication skills in English
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is necessary
- Previous experience of interacting with automated systems is an advantage
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
