We’re currently recruiting for a Team Member at our Derby site (DE1 9TA). The role operates Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 05:30–14:30 and 15:00–00:00.

Role and responsibilities

As a Team Member, you’ll play a key part in keeping products moving smoothly through our operation. Your responsibilities will include safely unloading goods from vehicles and transporting them to designated storage areas across the site. Health and safety are paramount, and you’ll be expected to uphold safe working practices at all times. Your contribution will be essential to the overall success of the operation. An external Counterbalance licence with a minimum of 12 months’ experience is required for this role.

Key tasks

  • As directed, safely handle customers products through all inbound and internal processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
  • Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the operation.
  • As directed in accordance with training, appropriately use material handling equipment to support operational processes in various areas of TMUK site.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, pre-use equipment checks and escalating any defects or abnormality to your line manager immediately.
  • Ensure that all company policies, procedures and processes are adhered to, including absence reporting, dignity at work and local site rules, taking due consideration of company values.
  • Ensure any concerns or abnormalities are reported to your line manager immediately to ensure the appropriate remedial action can be taken.

Key Skills

  • Good level of general education, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English.
  • Full counter-balance licence essential (external) with 12 months commercial experience.
  • Experience of operating MHE in fast paced environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work rotating shift patterns with regular overtime.
  • Health & safety awareness and able to follow H & S processes.
