We are now looking for a Public Relations Manager (Japanese Speaking) to join our Corporate Branding & Communications Group in London on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Japanese speaking PR, project management, or marcomms professional to join our globally recognised organisation. You'll have the chance to play a key role in shaping our global reputation whilst developing your skills on the international stage and broadening your expertise across communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement and crisis management.
As a Public Relations Manager, you will strengthen our global reputation and support our long-term business objectives, with a particular focus on the Japanese market. Specifically, you will develop and deliver strategic communications, PR strategies, and campaigns, secure media opportunities, and strengthen relationships with journalists, agencies and key stakeholders.
You will also lead our press relations activity, producing high-quality communications, supporting executive media engagement and identifying opportunities to raise the company profile. Working closely with colleagues across multiple functions and international regions, you will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring our communications remain consistent, effective and aligned with our global objectives.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans and responses
- Support reputation management during business-critical issues
- Monitor media coverage and evaluate campaign performance
- Produce reports and insights to measure communications effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to optimise future PR and communications activity
About You
To be considered as our Public Relations Manager (Japanese Speaking), you will need:
- Previous public relations, project management or marketing communications experience, gained within an agency, in-house environment or both
- Experience developing PR strategies for a global organisation
- Experience securing premium media coverage and building strong media relationships
- Experience delivering multi-channel communications campaigns
- Experience in crisis communications and issues management
- Experience using media monitoring and analytics platforms to evaluate campaign performance
- Fluency in Japanese, both speaking and writing, in addition to English
- Strong creative, analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively across global markets and different time zones
- A bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
