The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of our Northampton warehouse. Specifically, you will perform a variety of tasks and general duties, including the operation of MHE to support operations with a strong focus on H&S. You will safely load and unload trailers, handle goods correctly to ensure minimal damage, complete any relevant paperwork, and utilise MHE and automation systems.
- Adhere to all H&S procedures and utilise PPE
- Complete equipment checks and any risk assessments
- Seek ways to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Communicate any concerns or issues to your team leader or manager
About You
- Previous warehouse experience
- An FLT, counterbalance, reach truck, or pallet stacker licence (A2)
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Teamworking skills
- The ability to work to tight deadlines within a fast‑paced environment
- Attention to detail
- A good level of general education, including a good understanding of both written and verbal English
- A full, valid driving licence (some travel to our Milton Keynes site will be required)
