We are looking for a OFF Commercial Tender & Pricing Co‑ordinator to be based at our office in Rainham (RM13 8EU), with the opportunity to work remotely up to 3 days per week. Your core hours of work will be Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5:30pm. This successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the OFF Commercial Management team across all areas including Ocean Freight procurement, Carrier Management, Pricing (including Tenders) and adhering to the related strategies for International Freight Forwarding (IFFUK). They will also work alongside the Commercial Co‑ordinators, supporting the daily workload in the sourcing and provision of OFF solutions and quotations and offering responses to RFI/RFQ/Tenders received from the Yusen Global Network, GHQ teams and local Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate RFQ activity across the UK network, Sales, and Business Development teams.
- Co‑ordinate bi‑annual RFQ pipeline submissions for the RHQ BD process in cooperation with Sales.
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with carriers and UK multimodal suppliers to support long‑term pricing initiatives and enhance service capability.
- Provide bespoke pricing for non‑FHD RFQs and spot‑rate enquiries, ensuring alignment with company pricing protocols and commercial strategy.
- Contribute to commercial reporting by providing timely and relevant OFF activity data.
- Provide market intelligence, carrier service updates, and pricing insights to support the external sales team.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience and industry knowledge of logistics operations, particularly Ocean Freight Forwarding.
- A strong commercial awareness.
- Excellent numerical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
- Good IT skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems including Excel.
- Previous experience using CargoWise system is advantageous, but not essential.
