Role Overview

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Co-ordinator to support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound across the site.

The role is based at our Northampton SDC site (NN7 2FR) and will be working 6am-2pm which will progress on to a 5 out of 7 shift pattern.

The role will offer the salary of £28,537.32 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete customer bookings and carry out all contract administration tasks in a timely and accurate manner, complying with all Yusen / Customer procedures and timescales
  • Liaising and taking instructions from shift leadership. Helping resolve queries and general support for shift team leaders.
  • Helping the control of inbound and outbound documentations including load manifests
  • Assist / prepare timely and accurate reports for management and customers as required
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships and ensure that all queries are dealt with in an efficient manner
  • Administrating and keeping records up to date with workbooks that are designed to control warehouse operation
  • Carry out all other duties assigned to meet the business needs as required.
  • Administrate and control spreadsheets as required to facilitate the outbound operation and allow accurate flow of data upstream,
  • Control documentation to the ops team and transport function including manifest, labels and invoices
  • Action waving of orders according to Ops/Shift Management instruction
  • Support processing customer returns in an efficient manner and ensuring accurate records of stock.
  • What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Demonstrable general administration experience working within a busy environment
  • Previous experience working within a logistics environment is particularly desirable for this role
  • Knowledge / operational experience of warehouse management systems and Excel is advantageous, as well as inventory / stock control experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
