We are looking for an LGV Class 2 Driver to join us on a permanent, full-time basis working 50 hours per week. The working shift is days with an 6:00 – 7:00 start.

The Role
As a LGV Class 2 Driver, you will complete multiple deliveries and collections of building related products across our dedicated Howden’s depots.
Specifically, you will follow a mapped route and will complete on average between eight to ten deliveries and collections per day.
You will use your delivery expertise to assist where necessary with loading or unloading items that are unsuitable for our FLT trained depot staff to move.
Please note, this role will involve some manual handling activities.
About You
To be considered a LGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
– A full, valid driving LGV class 2 licence
– A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR or DG codes)
– A valid DCPC qualification
– A valid Digital Tachograph card
– Good communication skills
– A flexible approach to work with the ability to start at varying times
Ideally, you will have experience of working in an environment that involves tail lift use, multi-drop and manual handling.
