We are looking for a Transport Operator based at our Panattoni Park (NN7 4DE). You will be responsible for actioning the daily transport delivery and collection plan., Timely allocation of resource and despatch of drivers in accordance with daily traffic plan.
- To liaise daily with the planning department on driver availability
- Brief and debrief the Drivers
- Ensure all pre-use vehicle checks are completed and if necessary, any reported defects are resolved within a timely manner.
- To answer incoming telephone calls from drivers into the traffic office and following Stop Call Wait procedures.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
- To communicate any delays or failures to Contract Managers where required, At Yusen Logistics, we understand the value of utilising AI and other technologies to support the application process.
