To support our continued growth and digitalisation journey, we are looking for an EU Head of WMS to lead our European Warehouse Management Systems organisation and help shape the future of Contract Logistics technology across Europe.
In this role, you will define and execute the European WMS strategy and roadmap, lead a geographically dispersed team of WMS specialists and managers, and act as the key link between business, IT and external partners.
Responsibilities- Define and drive the European WMS strategy and roadmap in line with RSSC IT and Global WMS objectives
- Lead and develop the European WMS team across multiple countries
- Ensure high‑quality support, incident management and service delivery for strategic WMS platforms
- Drive WMS implementations, upgrades and optimisation projects across Europe
- Build strong relationships with WMS vendors and external partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and cost optimisation
- Manage the European WMS budget and governance framework
- Collaborate closely with Contract Logistics, IT Operations and business stakeholders across Europe
- Support digitalisation initiatives and innovation within the warehouse technology landscape
- Experienced people leader with a strong background in WMS environments and large‑scale IT or business applications
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Contract Logistics processes
- Experience working with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP WM/EWM or similar solutions
- Familiar with EDI, APIs, integrations and application ecosystems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in international environments
- Experienced in project and programme delivery within matrix organisations
- Fluent in English
- Willing to travel across Europe (approximately 15%)
