We are seeking a Class 2 Driver to join us on a permanent, full-time basis at our Leeds site (LS9 0SG), working Monday to Friday. The start time for this role is between 05:30 am and 06:30 am, working around 10-hour shifts. As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will carry out deliveries to our dedicated customers on pre planned, repeat routes. The products are palletised, though some light manual handling may be required. You'll deliver products directly to our customer, where goods are unloaded by FLT. You will be responsible for opening and closing the curtains and using both internal and loose straps to ensure the products are safely secured for transport. Because the routes are predetermined and consistent, you'll quickly become familiar with them and have the opportunity to build strong working relationships with our customer.
- A full, valid driving LGV Class 2 licence
- At least 12 months commercial LGV Class 2 driving experience
- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR or DG codes)
- A valid DCPC qualification
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- Excellent communication skills
- To be customer-focused with a 'can do' attitude
- To be able to work within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessary
