As a Nightshift General Operative, you will perform a variety of warehouse duties to support our nightshift operations for our key Howdens contract.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, pick, put away, replenish and dispatch items efficiently, safely and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedures and raise any defects to the line manager.
- Report to the section leader.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) and a good understanding of both written and verbal English.
- Literate and numerate.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Detail‑oriented approach.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques beneficial; previous warehouse experience beneficial.
