The Role
As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will support our Howden\’s Joinery contract, working from our Erith site.
Specifically, you will undertake around 8-10 deliveries per day to Howden\’s depots across Essex, Kent and the Home Counties.
You will also work to a pre-routed schedule, ensuring timely drops at the depots where your palletised loads will be loaded and unloaded by forklift.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed
Please note, this role will require light manual handling.
Qualifications
- A full, valid Class 2 driving licence with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
- A valid Driver CPC Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
