We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. Based in Perth, this role plays an integral part in supporting Yurra Group’s HR function. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process.
  • Prepare and distribute employment contracts, induction schedules, and onboarding materials.
  • Conduct welcome sessions and assist new employees with HR policies, procedures, and company culture.
  • Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Continuously improve onboarding processes for efficiency and a positive employee experience.
  • Organise pre-mobilisation training and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Manage mobilisation needs, including uniforms and general PPE requirements.
  • Book internal and external inductions as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Provide first-level HR advice on policies, procedures, awards, and agreements.
  • Support managers and employees with general HR queries and processes.
  • Provide general HR administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR or recruitment role (desirable).
  • Confidence in providing first-level HR advice and guidance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of awards, agreements, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and solution-focused approach.
